After what has been a successful venture entering the prestigious Futsal Thai League with Phetchaburi Rajabhat Futsal Club, we're pleased to announce a partnership with Singha Samut Sakhon Futsal Club, one of the biggest and most supported futsal clubs in Thailand, for both the remainder of the 2020 and entirety of the 2021 Futsal Thai League Season. We're no strangers to Samut Sakhon with current AKU athlete Wendel Mendes and head coach Hassan Khodabandehloo signed to the club.

The partnership will see the club in AKU teamwear for all their training and offcourt needs for the 2020 season before being major teamwear partners for gameday and all merchandise for the 2021 season. The agreement will see AKU products in the team's merchandise shop making AKU easily accessible for fans and supporters in Thailand.

On the partnership, AKU's founder Ruz tells us:

"We're excited to be working with a club of this magnitude, not just for it's on field presence, but its reach into the Thailand Futsal community, from the store in Centralworld to the rich history of the club. I was on Facebook the other day and someone randomly tagged me in a photo of someone wearing our tees on a beach in Phuket and just today, a kid tagged us wearing his kit from Toyota Japan. It's given us a huge platform into Asia and the thought that our humble Melbourne community is growing across Asia is surreal"

The marquee pieces of the 2020 season will be the club's gameday and training kits currently being made and available for purchase in the coming weeks.
